Healthy and inclusive neighborhoods for Florence Metropolitan City communities: strategies and planning scenarios for a 15-minutes city and a healthy city, and for the active aging of the population
The main objective of the project is to define design scenarios and strategic factors aimed at improving the characteristics of the public space that can promote healthy lifestyles and active and healthy aging for Florence Metropolitan City population. Moving from healthy cities literature and best practices, the project works at the neighborhood scale, investigating the relationship between built environment and health, with a systemic, interdisciplinary and transcalar vision. Through the methodological approach of research-action, two representative case studies of Florence Metropolitan City neighborhoods were selected with the collaboration of the Local Public Authority and were used as fields of research and experimentation of a theoretica framework, elaborated by the investigation group starting from scientific literature and international best practices. The final goal is to identify the neighborhood quality factors that, through the built environment, can promote health promotion and the creation of inclusive contexts based on sharing and socialization. https://sites.google.com/unifi.it/quartierisanihub/il-progetto?authuser=0 2022 Coordinatore scientifico: Nicoletta Setola, Alessandra Rinaldi, Valeria Lingua, Emanuela Morelli Partnership: Città Metropolitana di Firenze Comune di Firenze Società della Salute di Firenze (SdS) Azienda USL Toscana Centro Metalco Group Università degli Studi di Firenze - DIDA Centro di Ricerca Interuniversitario TESIS Laboratorio Regional Design Laboratorio IDEE - Innovation in Design & Engineering Research group: Nicoletta Setola Alessandra Rinaldi Valeria Lingua Emanuela Morelli Alessia Brischetto Stefano Follesa Daniele Busciantella Ricci Alessia Macchi Sara Viviani Elisa Caruso Francesco Bertiato Davide di Bella Kiana Kianfar Eletta Naldi |
